Habanero Peaches + Cream Cake

Juicy peaches, fiery Habanero, and fluffy cake come together for a delicious dessert with just the right amount of heat. It’s even better topped with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey. 

Say “howdy” to your new favorite dessert. Juicy peaches meet fiery Habanero and fluffy cake for a sweet treat with a twist. Top with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with honey for a slice of sweet and spicy magic.

Cook Time: 25-30 min

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 4 peaches
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Yellowbird Habanero Hot Sauce (we used Organic here, Classic works, too!)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup Habanero Honey Granola (crumble works, too!)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • Eggs, per box mix instructions
  • Water, per box mix instructions
  • Vegetable oil, per box mix instructions
  • Vanilla ice cream, to serve
  • Honey, for drizzling

Instructions:

  1. Peel and dice peaches.
  2. Combine diced peaches, maple syrup, Yellowbird Organic Habanero Hot Sauce, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  3. Prepare boxed cake mix in a separate mixing bowl according to packaging instructions.
  4. Add spiced peach mixture to a 9”x13” baking pan and top with cake batter.
  5. Top with crumble or Yellowbird Habanero Honey Granola.
  6. Bake according to cake packaging instructions.
  7. Top with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey to serve.
