We heard you’re ready for some serious summer vibes. Created in collaboration with Hotel ZaZa for brunch-goers and poolside-sippers, we’re giving you the recipe to make this smoky, spicy, and surprisingly refreshing cocktail at home.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • .75 oz mezcal
  • .75 oz silver/blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • .5 oz passion fruit syrup (we like Liber & Co)
  • 1 squeeze of Yellowbird Jalapeño Hot Sauce (measure with your heart for this one, but a teaspoon is a good starting point)
  • Jalapeño coin (for garnish, if you want to get fancy with it)
  • Salt (for the rim)
  • Ice (ice, baby)

Add all liquids to a cocktail shaker. Shake it like nobody’s watching, then strain over ice into a salt-rimmed rocks glass. Add jalapeño coin for garnish.
