Plum Reaper Cranberry Sauce

This one’s for the real MVPs of Thanksgiving—the leftover sandwich enthusiasts. You know who you are, layering turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce like it’s an art form. Our Plum Reaper version brings the heat and the flavor, so your Friday sandwich stack gets the upgrade it deserves.

This spicy, sweet, tangy sauce will totally steal the spotlight on the holiday table—sorry, Aunt Carol’s green bean casserole.

Servings: 6-8

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1 fresh orange
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 cup Yellowbird Plum Reaper Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, water, cinnamon stick, cloves, and Yellowbird Plum Reaper Hot Sauce.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, uncovered, for 15–20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving. The sauce will thicken more as it cools.
