Twice-Baked Hot Wings

Who knows wings better than a Bird?

Show off your side dish skills with these seriously tender on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, smoky, baked wings. Serve with additional Ghost Pepper Sauce for the experienced spice lovers.

Preparation: 15 minutes

Cook: 25 minutes

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

FOR THE WINGS

  • 1 ½ Lbs. Chicken Wings
  • Garlic Powder To Taste
  • Salt + Pepper To Taste
  • 1 Lemon, Zested
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 6 Celery Stalks

FOR THE SAUCE

  • 1/3 C. Organic Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Ghee, Melted

 

Instructions:

FOR THE WINGS

  1. Pat wings dry and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides. Cook in the air fryer for 25 minutes at 375˚F, flipping once.
  2. Remove wings, toss in ghost pepper-ghee mixture, then place back in the fryer and finish for 3 minutes at 375˚F for extra crispiness.
  3. Sprinkle finished wings with lemon zest and minced garlic. Serve with additional sauce to dip and celery!

FOR THE SAUCE

  1. While the wings cook, mix Yellowbird Organic Ghost Pepper Sauce and melted Ghee together.
